Are You Ready for the New Windows 7?

windows 7 Are You Ready for the New Windows 7? Seems like Windows Vista has had its reign. Now, Microsoft is looking to create Windows 7, which they say is an improvement of the Vista. The people at Microsoft don’t really want to refer to this new Windows as an entirely new operating system. They said that it would have the same base platform as Windows Vista. As such, all drivers and applications that are known to work on Windows Vista would also work on Windows 7. Now, is that a good news or a bad news?

Issues hound Windows Vista, no doubt about that. Users are complaining that it is sluggish, prone to errors, and doesn’t work even with the most popular software half the time. Microsoft have heard these complaints, so it seems. Now instead of releasing patches or coming out with a Windows Vista Second Edition, Microsoft looks like they want to forget the nightmare Vista really is. Vista is reminiscent to the Windows ME – another comedy of errors as far as Microsoft’s operating systems are concerned. These two platforms were pestered with errors and problems nobody ever want to use them.

But then again, Windows ME gave rise to Windows XP, one of Microsoft’s most reliable systems. It had enjoyed the same raves as Windows 2000, and it is more preferred by users because of its fresh new interface. Now with Windows 7 succeeding Windows Vista, users can only anticipate greatness. If it follows the same trend, then we’re in for a better treat than the sorry experience we all had with Windows Vista.

It was reported that most of Windows 7′s processing power will be dedicated to graphics, which corresponds to the overall look of the operating system and its inherent applications. This new system is also expected to spearhead Web 3.0, the next level in web publishing, internet operations, and web design. With all these new features, Windows 7 better be the improved system everybody is waiting for. Windows 7 is set for release in late 2011 or early 2012.
