
Few services offer as robust an implementation of remote IT support as Citrix Online’s GoTo Assist Express. Priced at only $69 a month (or $660 per year) for unlimited users, it’s also considerably inexpensive.
As soon as you register and pay at the GoTo Assist website, you can immediately set up a management client by downloading the self-installing software. Each time you start a new session, a link will be generated by the GoTo Assist system. Send this link to your users, have them launch it and you’ll be ready to provide assistance – no extra appliance and no additional set-up.
The management client can run up to eight sessions simultaneously, allowing the technician to provide assistance to multiple users concurrently. All sessions are secure, with numerous levels of permissions from the each client PC necessary to perform the remote operations. From the remote computer, the technician can run a diagnostic feature to collect various hardware and software information from remote systems, allowing you to monitor client systems regularly. Other features of the software include chat, file sharing, report generation and unattended support (as long as the user gives you permission).
You can look as hard as you want, but it’s virtually impossible to find a technical support solution as capable for the same low monthly price as Citrix GoTo Assist. It may not be the best option around, but it’s simply unbeatable for its price.
