star wars force Game Review: StarWars, The Force UnleashedFresh from the racks, this new video game is out to thrill all StarWars fanatics. This new game was first released in Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 demo modes last August 21. Now, it is all set for the Nintendo Wii, in full, unabridged version. Created by Krome Studios, this game is expected to be another hit for all video game fans.

Generally speaking, the game is a knockout in entertainment. It supports a good story line that is way better than the new trilogy of the StarWars. The game comes in a single player mode and a multi-player mode, just like most of the newer and better games today. But what you’ll love about this one is the way the controls are programmed. Execution of moves to match the Wii game controller is impeccable. It is very different from other Wii games where you can basically kill enemies by pushing random buttons. You are going to need precision, expertise, and skills to finish this 6-hour game in a single player mode.

The game is divided into several quests, sprinkled with duels and battles in between. Overall, you’ll never forget the game in your head just quite easily. It’s got a lasting appeal that would make you go back to the console and finish the game, or start it all over again a notch more difficult than before. This is how entertaining the game can really get.

However, Krome could have done better with the presentation and graphics of this game. The camera is a little bit on the cranky side at times. And the loading time takes a little too long for a Wii. The visuals are not that impressive, although they are good enough and comparable to that of a PS2 game.

The sounds are almost-perfect though. The score is emotional and gripping, much like what is expected of StarWars. The voices used in the game are strong and effective too, although the original cast would have done a great deal better. Darth Vader could use James Earl Jones’ voice, for one. It just doesn’t feel the same if it wasn’t him.
