Digital photo frames had flooded the market. Yet, they haven’t gained much popularity as a home gadget as expected. Digital photo frames are primarily used to read and play images and videos stored in a memory card. While they may seem useful and convenient, a lot of people are not seeing any urgent need to own one of them.
Until now. AT&T had modernized digital photo frames and integrated it with their technology to make it more functional. Now, you can do more than just view photographs and movie clips off these devices. You can use it as one full-pledged internet appliance that can virtually compete with your laptop, desktop computer, TV, and even your mobile phone.
AT&T calls this product the HomeManager. It is actually nothing more than a 7-inch digital photo frame you normally see at the gadget store. But unlike it, this one can offer a whole lot more. It can access your email, deliver visual voice mails, and call your home phone.
For a several dollars more than the regular digital photo frame, you can get this cool new gadget from AT&T. A regular digital photo frame would cost you around $200. This one is only $299, after signing up with some AT&T service. Right now, this cool new gadget is available in the Atlanta and Chicago areas.
With the bold release of the HomeManager from AT&T, they go down in history as the only telecommunications company that distributes these types of devices along with their service. This only proves that the company is always first in innovations. When you really think about it, the HomeManager might just be the next best alternative to buying a new laptop or a cordless phone. Now, who would say that digital photo frames are not the coolest things to be invented in this decade?
